Getting back to the original question...the old woman about to die could have been the person who saved your life and could also be your perfect woman who you've been dreaming about. So I say she's all three. Only one passenger-her. So there.
Joe
Well there ya go, Dan, I didn't know that Hawaii was a US state! So I guess the answer could be Hawaii?
Joe
There isn't a US state that is surrounded by water - it would have to be an island!

as jws we learned the utmost central watchtower doctrine that jesus returned "invisibly" in 1914 (well it was 1874, but then j. f. rutherford decided jesus really, really, really returned at a later date ... this is also known to jws as "jesus second presence" (greek: parousia = english: presence):.

SixofNine,
Did it say anything about a condition in which the excess aspartame is converted to urine (and large quantities of urine at that) at exactly the same time as important things happen in the movie you're watching?
No, but this phenomenon is absolutely true, and it is even more apparent whilst consuming large quantities of ale. Funny, I never knew beer had so much aspartame in it.

This is an extract from the following web site: http://www.chm.bris.ac.uk/motm/aspartame/aspartameh.html
Phenylalanine is one of the "essential" amino acids, meaning that humans must get it from their diet. It is a precursor for the synthesis of tyrosine and several neurotransmitters. Excess phenylalanine is broken down to fumarate and acetoacetate, both of which are part of normal energy metabolism. People who lack the enzyme to convert phenylalanine to tyrosine are not able to metabolize phenylalanine normally. This condition is called phenylketonuria because, in these people, excess phenylalanine is instead converted to phenylketones which appear in the urine. If it is not detected and treated, this condition can lead to mental retardation. This was the first genetic disease for which a routine screening test became available. Persons having this genetic defect must monitor their intake of phenylalanine. For this reason, products containing aspartame carry an information label for phenylketonurics.
This tends to put things is perspective.

hi all, i have not posted for some time, to bring you up to date, i recently moved, the local jw's do not know me.
they do not know i am a fade-away.. as luck would have it, a couple of weeks ago two 50-somthing jw's, husband and wife, knocked on our door while doing normal house to house work.
i got the standard presentation, with a strong emphasis on 1914 and the last days.
Hi, Duckie. I wouldn't hold your breath that they will return with a load of evidence to support 607BCE as the date for the fall of Jerusalem (except Watchtower rubbish), but this is a little encouraging:
I asked her "what will you do if you find out that the 607 and 1914 thing is historically speaking wrong" she said that if they were wrong she would search elsewhere for the true religion.
Is it possible to pin her down to how she would accept 607BCE as "wrong"? If you can get her to admit that a stack of historical evidence supports 586/587BCE then you may be on to something.
Carl Olof Jonnson's book, The Gentile Times Reconsidered, will help greatly.

im here for just a few minutes to post this.
i will try to come back later this evening.
niv titus 2:11-14 for the grace of god that brings salvation has appeared to all men.
Little Toe,
Joe:
This is the wrong media for that kind of conversation.
Are you going to Mike's BBQ?Besides - why do you want to know?
I don't know you from Adam.
OK, perhaps this is not the best medium , I concede. Just interested, that's all. You have to admit though, that if an angel did in fact appear and conveyed certain messages to you, it would certainly be of interest to most people! However, I realize you may be reluctant to divulge such details, at least here. Another time maybe, perhaps at Mike's BBQ if I am able to get there.
Anyway, pure curiosity led me to ask those questions. I hope you didn't take offence, by the way, I was just genuinely interested, Take care, Joe
browsing the web when i should be working, i found this at evilbible.com.
not sure if its been posted before, but it made me laugh.
enjoy.. 10 - you vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.. .
Hi, Ozzie. I assume that was a rhetorical question, but a fundamentalist christian, I believe, is one who takes the bible and/or its beliefs thereof, literally.
